This is a card layout that I've seen before and just loved.
I've use the Stampin' Up! Trendy Trees stamp set. Such a cute set and very versatile.
The paper is from Basic Grey..another great staple for my background paper stash.

Never Ever

Hi Everyone
I had a lot of fun working with this new stamp set called from .
It's a new set just out yesterday. When I was a very little girl I can remember going to one of the tiny theatre downtown to see Peter Pan. It made such an impression on me. Well...maybe it was the little boy playing Peter Pan that made an impression on me. :-)
The first card was me trying to get outside of my comfort zone. I was trying to create some sort of setting for them. The cobble wall definitely reminders me of the old fences in England. So I just thought maybe these guys might be hanging outside.
For the second card I followed my standard comfort zone. I really like the sentiment. I think it would be a good card to send to my Dad on his birthday. He's always young at heart. Then I'd make some cute comment in the card about me being his little fairy or something corny like that.
Thanks for stopping in and talking a look around. Don't forget about the blog candy post from yesterday. You have until Friday 4-3, 9:00 p.m. CST to enter.
Good Luck everyone,

Hi Everyone
Well...the magnolia tree's aren't yet blooming in my part of the country but the Magnolia stamps sure are. I placed my first order of Magnolia's last week and received them just the other day.
I'm so looking forward to creating stuff with this line. I've been fortunate to have gotten some stamped images from RAK's and swaps and have grown to really like these stamps.
Today's card is a Tilda. I'm not quite sure which one she is. She's on her way to school.
This is a very straight forward card. No shading with Copics just straight coloring. So nothing fancy.
I dug out my Signo pen again. It's great how that little bit of doodling adds to a card I think.
Thanks for stopping in and taking a look around.
Have a great day!

Another Addition

Hi Everyone
I've added another piece to the ever growing desk organizer set.
This is a mini filing cabinet. I found this great tutorial 's blog. I was surprised at how big this really turned out. I added some stickles in one of the cabinets so you could get a sense of the space and height.
I altered mine drawers just a little as I didn't have 12 x 12 cardstock that it called for so I modified the drawer size. I think it turned out ok.
Make sure and check out Holly's. It was very easy to follow.
Thanks for taking a look.

Another day to organize

Hi Everyone
Here is item 2 in my quest to create some cute organizational items for my desk.
This is the mini magazine holder. I'm sure you've seen it before. I did one a while back using a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of card stock that will hold A2 cards. I also have a pattern for a holder of A2 cards that used 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock. When I purchased the kit from Inking Idaho it was the 12 x 12 patter that was included in the instructions. I've had the 12 x 12 patter for sometime that I found off of a blog. I'm still searching for it so if I find it I'll post a link so you can create one yourself. The construction of this holder is quite simple really. It's just three of the mini magazine holders taped together. I used sticky strip of course. Then just add a few panels of CS and DSP to the front and sides. It's a snap. Literally the hardest part was getting each piece lined up with each other. You know that sticky strip..once it's's down.
I'll have another cute accessory to add to this set tomorrow so stay tuned.
Thanks for stopping by.

I see some organization on the way

Hi Everyone
I ran into this super cute chest on SCS and had to find out how to get the pattern. I'm usually really lazy about measuring things out myself so I was super excited to find blog
Becky is a full time Stampin' Up! demonstrator (oh wouldn't that be great) that comes up with these super cute projects. Check out her blog if you are interested in what she has to offer.
This is the cute little chest. It's really simple when you break it down. Just a few box bottoms with few sleeves then tape them all together...slap on a couple of panels of CS and you got it.
I'll have more goodies to share in the next few days. I can't wait to load this thing up with brads and such.
The second picture is to show how much room is in each drawer will hold.
Thanks for stopping by.

From the Desk of....

Hi Everyone
I put together a quick box that will hold a 4" x 6" notepad. You could also just add some loose
paper. I'm always writing notes and always looking for paper to write stuff down on.
I though this would be great to have on my the the office, places like that.
This was really easy to put together. Best of all it's made from one sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock. It takes a few score lines and a few cuts and that's pretty much it.
Super simple.
I originally saw this on SCS. This uses Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates from PTI. The Desk Top Organizer.
Thanks for taking a look.

When Lucky Charm's not so Magically Delicious

Hi Everyone
Ever had your little one eat to many Lucky Charm's and soon regret it?
Well, I don't have any kids but I do remember eating those as a kid and having a bowl to many.
This cute stamp is from Taylored Expressions . I ordered all three sets when they came out and am just getting to stamp them up.
The cute 'Magically Delicious' sentiment was also from Taylored Expressions .
Hope you all are seeing rainbow's soon as Spring comes in.
Have a great day.

I Can Already Smell the Jelly Beans

Hi Everyone
Easter is just around the corner. How many bags of Easter candy have you had already?
I made a midnight trip to Wal-Mart last night and unfortunately walked down the holiday isle with all the Easter candy. Augh! I was strong and didn't buy any of it. But..oh it smelled so good.
I wanted to do something cute with the new from and I ran into a bag that I thought was so cute. It's made using the Nestie die cuts. I saw this bag on and couldn't wait to give it a try.
I used the largest scallop die and the larges oval die. I cut a strip of paper about 1 1/2" to make the bag part. I made tiny slits and folded them in to secure to each side scallop circle.
I added some ribbon to the small strip of card stock for the handle. I think it serves two purposes. If you have paper that's a little light weight if you add a strip of ribbon it gives it more structure. It also gives it a nice added dimension to the project.
Go check out the digital stamp of Easter Anya
Have a great weekend!
